New York City Restaurants - Where You Should EatMost people think stylish NYC restaurants are expensive. It's very true that many restaurants in New York City are like this, but there are plenty of less expensive options that offer some of the highest quality food in New York. Here are a few of the best restaurants in NYC that you should check out next time you visit.
If you want great Italian food then consider dining at Peasant restaurant. It has some of the best Italian food I've ever had in New York City. When you first walk in the doors of this quaint little restaurant you will actually feel like your walking into a bomb shelter but once your inside the atmosphere is much different. It draws you in with a sense of home with the brick and wood construction. Bulky curtains line the walls and candles adorn the tables with their flames. You'll find it to be a great date restaurant thanks to its beautiful, romantic setting. Peasant's food is incredible and you'll walk out the door knowing you'll come back again.
If your stomach wants some good Japanese food then head to Ippudo restaurant. This little restaurant is located in the heart of the East Village and offers some great Japanese food. However this is a pretty popular dining spot so you want to be sure that you get a reservation otherwise you will have up to a hour wait or longer but it will definitely be worth it. Don't fret if you have to wait because the food more than makes up for it.
I know I covered a Japanese restaurant already, but I can't leave out Morimoto's. If you have ever watched Iron Chef America then you have a great knowledge of this great restaurants owner. As you enter through the doors of this great restaurant you almost feel like your entering a whole time era. The extremely professional staff sets the tone for a wonderful evening and the food is mouthwatering. Morimoto's isn't cheap, but I, and a lot of other patrons, think it is worth every penny.
Considering pizza? Then consider picking up a slice at Fornino. You'll have to venture out to Brooklyn to grab a slice though. They offer a great friendly atmosphere with some of the best pizza New York has to offer. Want to take the family and enjoy a great night out? Then you can't go wrong with Fornino.
I could have wrote a whole book on this, but I decided to just give you a fraction of the best restaurants in NYC. Now you have incentive to explore more restaurants on your own. It doesn't matter what kind of pallet you have, New York will have a great restaurant for you. I highly suggest venturing out on your own and exploring all the cuisine that New York has to offer.
